THE CHALLENGE

Springfree Trampoline is an innovative new trampoline that eliminates the impact areas responsible for 90% of all trampoline injuries. Unlike other toys and fitness equipment, trampolines have little brand identification, and many people are unaware or misinformed of the dangers traditional spring-based trampolines pose. The company was challenged with educating consumers on the dangers of traditional trampolines and building awareness for its product proven to help reduce injuries.

THE MISSION

Build brand awareness by introducing parents and mainstream consumers to Springfree Trampoline, and educating them on the dangers of traditional trampolines.

RKPR SUCCESS

As the old saying goes, if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em, so we took our trampoline to Dr. Marc Rabinoff, the nation’s foremost expert on trampoline safety to show him there is a better way. It was risky, but he became our biggest advocate, singing our praises to The Today Show, Fox News and The Denver Post. Our targeted and aggressive media relations campaign also sought to show that trampolining is fun, and resulted in top-tier hits on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Price is Right and many others. We also developed a workout with a leading fitness expert, and demonstrated it to celebrities like Brooke Burke, Holly Robinson Peete and Beverley Mitchell, leading to exciting endorsements in press such as E! News.
